Question by ss88: How long after starting Macrobid should I feel relief from a Urinary Tract Infection?
I went to my doctor on Tuesday (Today is Thursday) and was prescribed Macrobid 1 Pill Twice a Day. I have taken 4 doses and still have awful burning and frequent urges. How long does it usually take before the antibiotic kicks in to give some relief?

It can usually take at least 3-5 days for you to feel relief. However, if the pain worsens or symptoms don’t clear by ten, then you need to call your doctor again, cause you may have a secondary infection.
