Question by patrick m: Assistance to acquire a medical prescription drug “nexium” in Kenya?
I am trying to trace medical institutions which deal with gastro-intestinal ailments, or organizations which can help me in getting the medical drug “Nexium” which I am supposed to take to cure an agonizing acid burning my stomach. Due to legal reasons, wellwishers outside Kenya cant help and I am asking if such people, NGO’s or individuals exist locally who can assist me get this very expensive medicine. I simply cannot afford it and am leading a very painful and miserable life. Starved, since I cannot take food without triggering massive uncontrolled acid production which goes on to burn in the stomach until I vomit or take palliatives such as Actal

Nexium is esomeprazole. I wonder how it is so costly, it is not where I am. Anyway, you may try to get Lansoprazole (Lanzap)which may be less costly or even Pantoprazole (Pantop) that may serve the purpose.
