What are the chances of transmission from an infected male to an uninfected female without using condoms, when he is taking daily Valtrex?

I don’t know any numbers, but I have never passed it to someone and I don’t take valtrex.
It can only be passed if you have sores or the symptoms of herpes. (like a tingling feeling)

OK first of all, Rach is wrong and has probably given it to hundreds of poor guys.
You CAN spread when not having an outbreak. In the episode of Family Guy where Peter says he won’t buy a used car he tells of a guy who caught herpes twice. Great episode btw.
Seriously even the commercial says you can spread it while taking valtrex. That’s why I wouldn’t waste my money on it. Rubbers are cheaper.
15-30%, it drops to 2% if you use condoms
depends on how long you have had the virus the risk of passing it on without symptoms becomes less the longer you have it and if you are on suppressive medication this lowers the risk to 1-2 % but this is with using condoms though you can still catch herpes using condoms

Taking Valtrex a day? That’s wasting your time because you can STILL get herpes..even if you are using condoms.
